What is a Crypto-asset?
MiCA defines “crypto-asset” as a digital representation of a value or of a right that is able to be transferred and stored electronically using distributed ledger technology or similar technology.

A crypto-asset is:
1.
A digital representation of a value or of a right;
2.
that is able to be transferred electronically;
3.
that is able to be stored electronically; and
4.
which electronic transferred and storage is made using distributed ledger technology or similar technology.
